Our survival depends on fighting climate change
They’re a threat to our children’s future.”President Obama said recently, “More droughts and floods and wildfires are not a joke. They’re a threat to our children’s future.” now, while I still have a voice to speak, I want to communicate a warning: I believe we are at a crossroads that puts our civilization at risk. If we do nothing to stop carbon dioxide from going into the atmosphere, the Earth will face a future similar to that of Mars, becoming barren and lifeless.
When World War II was thrust on us, we turned our economic system into a war machine as every American agreed to sacrifice in order to defeat Nazi Germany and its allies. That is the model for what it will take to overcome what now threatens our planet.
- Planning for a shortage and excess of water.
Cities and towns need to take a strategic view of water supply and storm water. The East London Green Grid aims to create a network of open spaces with the potential for managing surface water and flood risks and generating energy. - Moderating the urban heat island.
Cities and towns are warmer than surrounding areas because heat is stored in concrete and tarmac and traffic and poor air circulation compound the problem. Green spaces are protected across Stuttgart explicitly to promote cool airflows, improve air quality and reduce the heat island effect. - Making green spaces work for people and wildlife.
Urban green areas can be a significant source of sustainable food, help community cohesion and protect biodiversity. Benwell Nature Park in Newcastle is now a focal point for community that helped create it and Warrington has pioneered the establishment of urban forestry.

Let us enjoy Diwali in its purest form by lighting lamps, offering prayers and by making this world a better place for you and for me and for the entire universe. Happy Diwali.
Diwali is a five day festival in India. Dhanteras is the first day of Diwali. On this day people buy jewellery, silver and gold coins. On the second day, Roop Chaudas people bath with uptan. On the third and the main Diwali day idols of Ganesha and Lakshmi are worshiped (Lakshmi Puja). On this day Kali Puja performed in Bengal. The night of amavasya is transformed into Purnima by glory of diyas. Fourth day is celebrated as new year according to Hindu calander. Bhaiya dhuj which is celebrated on fifth day glorifies love between a brother and a sister.
On the day of Diwali, Lord Ram returned to Ayodhya after exile of 14 years. People of Ayodhya welcomed him by lighting diyas. Let us all pledge to make our country prosperous and let us come forward to establish Ramrajya in India... "Sabh mil mangal gao re,
Sabh mil deep jalao re Avadh me Ram aaye hai...!" Diwali is a festival of lights; people decorate their homes and exchange greetings……’ Well, Is it actually bringing light and happiness around? is it actually sending positive vibes and blessings for happy and long life for the people around us

Rajiv Gandhi was the youngest Prime Minister of India. He became Prime Minister at the age of 40.
“India is an Old country but a young nation…I am young and I too have a dream, I dream of India Strong, Independent, Self-Reliant and in the front rank of the nations of the world.
Rajiv Gandhi was born on August 20, 1944 in Bombay (Mumbai) in India's most famous political family. His grandfather Jawaharlal Nehru played a stellar role in India's freedom struggle and became independent India's first Prime Minister. His parents lived separately and Rajiv Gandhi was raised at his grandfather's home where her mother lived. Rajeev Gandhi did his schooling from the elite Doon school and then studied at the University of London and at Trinity College, Cambridge in Britain. At Cambridge, Rajiv Ghandi met and fell in love with an Italian student Sonia Maino and they got married in 1969.
Returning to India, Rajeev Ghandi became a commercial airline pilot. His younger brother Sanjay Gandhi entered politics and became a trusted lieutenant of her mother Indira Gandhi. After Sanjay's death in a plane crash in 1980, Rajiv reluctantly entered politics at the instance of his mother. He won his first Lok Sabha election in 1981 from Amethi-the erstwhile constituency of his brother. Soon he became the General Secretary of the Congress Party. After the assassination of Indira Gandhi in October 1984 he became the Prime Minister of India at the age of 40. He called for general elections in 1984 and riding on a massive sympathy wave led Congress to a thumping victory. Congress garnered 80 percent of the seats in the lower house and achieved its greatest victory since independence.
In his initial days as Prime Minister, Rajiv Gandhi was immensely popular. During his tenure as Prime Minister of India, he brought a certain dynamism to the premiership, which had always been occupied by older people. He is credited with promoting the introduction of computers in India. Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi began leading in a direction significantly different from Indira Gandhi's socialism. He improved bilateral relations with the United States and expanded economic and scientific cooperation. He increased government support for science and technology and associated industries, and reduced import quotas, taxes and tariffs on technology-based industries, especially computers, airlines, defence and telecommunications. He worked towards reducing the red tape in the governance and freeing administration from bureaucratic tangles. In 1986, Rajiv Gandhi announced a national education policy to modernize and expand higher education programs across India.

. The smaller forces are nothing but a microscopic representation of the higher forces of universe.
. The smaller forces are nothing but a microscopic representation of the higher forces of universe.
The Ardhanareshwar form of Lord Shiva represents the union of Mata Parvati and Lord Shiva, the union of purush and prakriti. Both are two different aspects of nature but come together to create a perfect harmonious balance. The Ardhanareshwar form represents the union of complementary forces in nature to create a complete whole. They are one, existing without duality. That is the concept of marriage in Vedic philosophy.
Woman is considered as a force or shakti in a man’s life. A woman is like fuel and man the vehicle, both come together to complete the journey of experiences they chose to go through in their lifetime. It is a certainty that a woman committed completely (in thoughts, words and deeds) to her man can take the man to any heights. There’s nothing impossible for him to achieve in the physical world.
As every phenomenon in nature serves a purpose, there is purpose behind two people coming together also. As the root of every action is desire, this desire decides the purpose they unite for and, accordingly, they go through the experiences they had asked for. The union of two forces always occurs for Creation. Based on their desire they connect together at different levels to create, experience and go beyond. These connections, based on desire and purpose, also decide the length of that relationship. The higher the purpose, longer the union. Connections are the bonds established between two people at the level at which their energies merge, that is to say connecting at the level of chakras. As we know there are certain characteristics pertaining to each chakra, and union happens at the level of these characteristics.

Agnipath, A poem by Harivansh Rai Bachchan
Even if there be trees (around)
shady and huge,
for the shade of a single leaf
don't ask, don't ask, don't ask..
(Walk on the) Path of Fire, (Walk on the) Path of Fire..
You will never stop,
You will never halt,
You will never turn,
Take this oath, take this oath, take this oath
(Walk on the) Path of Fire, (Walk on the) Path of Fire..
It's a great scene,
The man is walking,
in tears, sweat, and blood,
soaked, swathed,
shady and huge,
for the shade of a single leaf
don't ask, don't ask, don't ask..
(Walk on the) Path of Fire, (Walk on the) Path of Fire..
You will never stop,
You will never halt,
You will never turn,
Take this oath, take this oath, take this oath
(Walk on the) Path of Fire, (Walk on the) Path of Fire..
It's a great scene,
The man is walking,
in tears, sweat, and blood,
soaked, swathed,
(Walk on the) Path of Fire, (Walk on the) Path of Fire. nationbuilderindia.blogspot.in

Positive Thinking
We are the sum of what we have created in the past and what we can create now. We exist in the continuous flow of our creations, and the flow is altered and varies momentarily, from the influences of these creations. To think that we can make instantaneous great leaps is positive thinking, and is theoretically possible, but most of us must grow one step at a time.
Your belief structure now; your attitudes, emotions, goals and hopes now, will help counter your negative creations of the past, and will help you project a more positive future. Since you are at the helm, or the point of your continuous flow of creation, you can direct it wherever you wish. You should always set goals, but you should also be aware that it is often a necessity to change goals along the way, as you gain more insight into the appropriateness of a particular time.

On Jahan Chah Wahan Raha
I think the following factors contribute to this phenomenon. In the first place, the youth are self-centred today. They are just interested in fresh and attractive things, and in their eyes, the old may stand for boredom boring and obsoleteness. In the second place, other members of families with eldly people do not take good care of them. Due to a variety of causes, they are unwilling to make time for the old. As a result, young people tend to regard senior citizens as non-significant individuals., In the third place, the governments in many counties do not pay much attention to that group. Adolescents who are brought up in that atmosphere can be impolite and can feel there is no necessity to show respect for the eldership.
It is an irreversible reality that everyone is getting older. Therefore measures should be taken to combat the situation. Parents and teachers should instill good manners into the youth in order for them , not only to not only respect others, but also to acquire respect from someone else.
The family members are supposed to afford the old a sensce of belonging. And communication is a good approach to promoting mutual understanding. The government should give priority to raise the public awareness of respecting senior individuals. More money need to be allocated to establish a mechanism by which for the sake of elderly people develop a ’s senses of well-being.
Overall, causes of the problem that young people do not show enough respect for senior citizens are manifold. As the situation is crying out for reform, everybody is supposed to take responsibility for assisting those senior citizens in modern society. the category of seniority.
